ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ADMINISTRATOR Part time

Part time - temp

Working 20 hours per week, based on 4 hours per day over a 5 week period. There is some flexibility on exact working hours with the possibility of going to 5 hours per day over a 4 day period.


1. Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility
Setting up customer accounts both credit and cash
Obtaining credit references and credit reports as and when required
Setting credit limits and managing according to the company's credit policy
Day-to-day credit control i.e. sending copies of invoices and chasing debt
Resolving customer queries and liaising with relevant departments
Producing monthly ageing reports and overdue balances and regularly reviewing
Reviewing the daily reports to manage customers at their credit limit
Preparing and attending monthly debtors meetings with senior management
Sending monthly statements to customers
Placing customers accounts on hold when necessary and liaising with relevant personnel
Releasing orders to be despatched for customers over their credit limit

Telephone, computer (software Syspro, MS Office, Banking platforms, Internet).

Office environment.

Good verbal & numeracy skills. Methodical & accurate.

Normal office demands.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time.
